Overwatch League has managed to consolidate itself as the great esports competition between clubs linked to cities – exactly how Blizzard wanted it to be. Now the team is not only complete but has also acquired very strong reinforcements, such as the Rascal and Striker DPSs and the Viol2t . The damage-dealing department already had good names like babybay and Sinatraa, which, along with other players known as Super, Architect, and Moth, gives much more credibility to this year’s cast than to the previous team. If you are shocked by the results of this season, do not say later that we did not warn you.
After the fiasco of 2018, the Dallas Fuel needs to rebound. There were prominent chances of disbandment with their record of 40 losses and 0 wins, but it was tricky. Big names, dominant in the pre-OWL scenario, the synergy of a long time, everything to succeed. However, Wanting is not acquiring.
In the final stretch of the League, the team even got good results and woke up to life, but it was a bit late to regain what they had left behind.
A whole season, a lot of training, a lot of progress and the doubt: Will Overwatch Contenders teams live up to OWL teams? Overwatch World Cup has always been an important showcase of talent. The lineup looks good on paper, but now the big question is: Is it in Chengdu’s hands to give a strong hope to the Chinese nation in 2019 with a massively Chinese-made cast? We’ll see!

Hangzhou Spark consists of the mixture of the Korean and Chinese region along with strong back of the three brilliant coach staff. This year, the team will be playing their first season of the Overwatch League. The team owned by Bilibili is expected to do wonders in the tournament since the expectations are quite high from the newcomers.
Log Angeles Gladiators, a name that suggests that the team is composed of the native American squad. However, that is not the case since the roster has a majority of Korean players. The team owned by Stan and Josh Kroenke even hired ShibaInu as the new translator for the team.
Same is the case with Log Angeles Valiant. The team is representing the flags of the United States with different race and color. However, unlike Log Angeles Gladiators, the team had all native English speakers in the squad with only the exception of Kang-jae “envy” Lee. Last year, the organization decided to take a step further and welcomed five Korean players in the team.
Seoul Dynasty is a team owned by Kevin Chou who is the owner of Gen.G in League of Legends. With such a high level of success in League of Legends (well apparently), the CEO is aiming to do the same in Overwatch League as well. The main advantage of the squad will be strong communication while the rest of the teams struggle with the translator.
